Product description

The Formula Delta Performance Solutions (FDPS) custom additively manufactured high capacity oil pan for 2022+ Toyota GR86 (ZN8) / Subaru BRZ (ZD8) provides up to an additional 1.6 L (1.7 US qt) of oil capacity, and includes an integrated, maintenance-free baffle system to reduce the likelihood of oil starvation during competition track usage.

Custom made products are produced in small quantity and can have longer lead times than our standard products.

Variants

This product comes in two variants

• Standard fitment - this variant comes in the same shape as our cast version and provides an additional 1.6 L (1.7 US qt) of oil capacity over the factory oil pan. This variant will fit factory headers without removing the heat shield. Please refer to the product page for the cast version for known compatibilities. 
• HKS Super Manifold GT Spec fitment - this variant has been modified to fit the HKS Super Manifold with Metal Catalyzer GT Spec (PN: HKS33005-AT010) in addition to the factory headers without removing the heat shield. It provides an additional 1.55 L (1.6 US qt) of oil capacity.

We recommend professional installation of Formula Delta Performance Solutions products. Be aware of all the necessary precautions, tools and consumables when installing the high capacity oil pan.

This product has a total cost of $1,199 USD + shipping for the Canadian and International markets. This is inclusive of the product cost and the custom assembly service.

Installation tools and consumables are not included with the oil pan. Please see the installation notes for more details.

Installation notes

• Requires the following tools to install:
  • Required: extended 5mm ball nose hex socket (hex length 4.75" or longer)
  • Required: Loctite 243
• The exhaust header must be removed to install the oil pan.
• Apply RTV to the upper oil pan and spread evenly on the mating surface.
• Inspect and clean the mesh strainer in the oil pickup before installing the oil pan.
• We recommend using aluminum crush or sealing washers only with the drain bolts.
• The baffles system is not designed to be disassembled without proper service. Disassembly without proper service will limit our ability to provide warranty support.

Application notes

• This product is recommended for vehicles with high levels of modification whose primary purpose is for competition track and would benefit from the higher capacity offered by this product, and/or for vehicles who have specific fitment requirements with certain exhaust headers.
• All application notes from our standard cast product apply.
• The high capacity oil pan mitigates oil starvation and oil pressure loss; however, it is not guaranteed to prevent all oil starvation completely, such as in continuous right hand turn operation.
